Elijah and Abigail had a busy Christmas season .We headed up to Clinton, SC to visit some friends and go to the Bethany Christmas dinner. We ate lunch with Grant Val and Mary Elise. As usual, Grant Val spoiled out children. Elijah is sporting the new cowboy hat that she gave him. Ride em’ cowboy!
On Christmas day, we started with our family Christmas at home. We made a pancake birthday cake for Jesus and sang happy birthday before opening any presents. Abigail was a big fan of the pancakes. Elijah and Brian headed outside right away to try out the new tricycle! Afterwards, we headed over to the Grands and celebrated with the whole family. Children and presents were everywhere. Elijah got his very own digital camera and took about 300 pictures of the Christmas tree. Cousin Rebecca got a new tent that kept her and Abigail entertained for a while.
A couple of days after Christmas, we headed to Tennessee to visit our friends the Kings and to celebrate a 50th wedding anniversary with the Bruners. While there, we hiked in the smokies, climbed in some trees, jumped on hotel beds, laughed a lot while playing games, rock climbed (well, Brian did anyway), and just had fun. Elijah got to play with some great friends and Abigail made a new playmate as well with 8 month old Lydia.
