Christmas with the Dugdales 2009

Busy, busy, busy…. Christmas came and went too fast this year. I was not ready for Christmas music to go away. With all the traveling we did (which was fun), we did not have much time to rest and enjoy Christmas at home. But, we did continue our family tradition of the pancake birthday cake for Jesus. The kids are understanding more and more that Christ is the reason we celebrate Christmas. He is the most important and the center of our focus… the presents are secondary. We did our tour of the south… South Carolina and Georgia and got to visit with many friends. Elijah said it best though… “it was too short… I wanted to play with them longer.” We wish we could have visited longer than we did, but there comes a time when the comforts of home are calling and just too hard to ignore. We were, however, blessed to be able to visit with so many friends!

The stocking all hung on the clothesline with care!

Gammy and the big kids doing one of their favorite things… READING! Gammy is a good book reader!

So, once again, Merry Christmas to you and your family. That’s it for 2009 … I wonder what we will encounter in 2010!
