My baby is growing up! People ask us (often) if we are going to have more children. I don’t know the answer to that… all I can say is “if it is God’s will.” I have felt different this time around though. For the first time, I think I’d be okay not going through pregnancy and newborn days again. Maybe it’s time to enjoy other peoples’ newborns and let our family move past diapers, teething, late night feedings, etc. Maybe… just maybe.
Tybi turned one! She is bursting with personality. She is learning how to charm people with her smiles and antics. We do adore this sweet little blessing. She, like each one before her, is very unique in how she tackles the world. She started walking at about ten months, but hasn’t really started talking outside of babbles and the occasional “mama” and “dada.” She adores her big brother and sisters… particularly Selah, who has really embraced her role as big sister.
Breakfast on her birthday with chocolate chip pancakes… she diligently dug out the chocolate chips.
First cake experience… we got her cupcakes and then headed to lunch at the Chinese restaurant.
We headed to Atlanta the next weekend to celebrate with cousins and grandparents. Usually, we have a cute them for birthday cakes… but I had just gotten a Baby Cakes, Cake Pop maker and wanted to try it out. We decided that Tybi would have an elegant birthday with her pearl sprinkled, chocolate drizzled cake.
She didn’t care… she just wanted to keep on eating the cake pops!
I am so thankful for this sweet little bundle. I wasn’t sure how we’d do with four kids, but it really hasn’t been that hard. Tybi makes it easy. Happy Birthday Baby Girl!
